Easy way to make a PPTP VPN dialer<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

What you should know before you start<\/strong>
\n1.You will need Windows 7 (32bit and 64 bit version). If you don’t have computers with thatsystems, then you can use Virtual Machine for that purpose. You can use for example<\/p>\n

VirtualBox. Simply create two virtual machines and install systems: Win 7 32bit and Win 7<\/p>\n

64bit.
\n2.32 bit dialer must be created in 32bit Windows and 64bit dialer in 64 bit Windows.
\n3.For each VPN protocol (PPTP, L2TP, SSTP) must be created standalone dialer.
\n4.You will need your logo image in BMP format 330×140 pixels.<\/p>\n

\nBuild a PPTP VPN dialer guide<\/strong><\/p>\n

1.Extract CMAK zip archive.<\/p>\n

2.Start CMAK by double clicking on ‚cmak.exe‘. Once CMAK is started, click ‚NEXT‘.<\/p>\n

3.Click ‚NEXT‘.<\/p>\n

4.You are creating new profile – new VPN dialer so click ‚NEXT‘. (by choosing ‚existing<\/p>\n

profile‘ you can edit previously created dialers)<\/p>\n

5.Enter your service name (will be shown bellow the icon on the desktop) and enter dialer<\/p>\n

file name. IMPORTANT NOTE: Never create multiple dialers with the same service name. Rather<\/p>\n

use ‚Service Name PPTP‘, ‚Service Name L2TP‘ etc.<\/p>\n

6.Click ‚NEXT‘.<\/p>\n

7.Click ‚NEXT‘.<\/p>\n

8.Enable ‚Phone book from this profile‘. Choose ‚Allow user to choose a VPN server before<\/p>\n

connecting‘. Enable ‚Use the same username …‘. And click on ‚Browse‘.<\/p>\n

9.Choose suitable server list file on your disk. For most cases ‚r_servers.txt‘ should be<\/p>\n

suitable. If you wish to use reduced server list which contains only UK and USA servers<\/p>\n

then use ‚r_servers_uk_us.txt‘.<\/p>\n

10.Click ‚NEXT‘.<\/p>\n

11.Be sure that you can see ‚Create or Modify a VPN entry‘ and click ‚Edit‘.<\/p>\n

12.On ‚Security‘ tab set ‚VPN strategy‘ as ‚Only use Point to Point Tunneling Protocol<\/p>\n

(PPTP)‘ and click ‚OK‘.<\/p>\n

13.Click ‚NEXT‘.<\/p>\n

14.Disable ‚Automatically download phone book updates‘ and click ‚NEXT‘.<\/p>\n

15.Be sure that you can see ‚Configure Dial-up Networking Entries‘ and DO NOT click ‚Edit‘.<\/p>\n

Just click ‚NEXT‘.<\/p>\n

16.Click ‚NEXT‘.<\/p>\n

17.Click ‚NEXT‘.<\/p>\n

18.Click ‚NEXT‘.<\/p>\n

19.If you wish to use own logo, then choose ‚Custom graphic‘. Click ‚Browse‘ and choose<\/p>\n

your logo BMP file (330×140 pixels). Once you see your logo bellow, click ‚NEXT‘.<\/p>\n

20.Click ‚NEXT‘.<\/p>\n

21.Click ‚NEXT‘.<\/p>\n

22.Click ‚NEXT‘.<\/p>\n

23.Enter your customer support contact (email, phone etc.) and click ‚NEXT‘.<\/p>\n

24.Click ‚NEXT‘.<\/p>\n

25.Click ‚NEXT‘.<\/p>\n

26.Enable ‚Advanced customization‘ and click ‚NEXT‘.<\/p>\n

27.Set ‚Selection name‘ as ‚Connection Manager‘. Select ‚Key name‘ as ‚HideDomain‘. Change<\/p>\n

‚Value‘ to ‚1‘. Click ‚Apply‘.<\/p>\n

28.Set ‚Selection name‘ as ‚Connection Manager‘. Select ‚Key name‘ as ‚Dialup‘. Change<\/p>\n

‚Value‘ to ‚0‘. Click ‚Apply‘.<\/p>\n

29.Set ‚Selection name‘ as ‚Connection Manager‘. Type by yourself new ‚Key name‘ as<\/p>\n

‚AutoReconnect‘. Set ‚Value‘ to ‚1‘. Click ‚Apply‘.<\/p>\n

30.Once the dialer is built click ‚Finish‘.<\/p>\n

31.Change directory to ‚Profiles\/Windows 7 and Windows Vista\/your dialer name‘ and you<\/p>\n

should see just one exe file which is your dialer install file. You can copy it standalone<\/p>\n

somewhere and rename as you wish. This file can be provided to your customers.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
